Unique fishing by the coast and fjord

At Hølken Strand, which is right next to the site, there are good opportunities for coastal fishing – and even then at its very best. Here you can experience exciting and varied fishing, where sea trout in particular dominate.

Fish from the shore, or take a dinghy or sea kayak out on the water and open yourself up to a variety of fish. Hornfish, mackerel, mullet, cod and flatfish – with the right amount of patience, all kinds can be outsmarted.

Do you have a boat with you? Just 150 m from the site. Hølken boat guild to, here you can become a member and have your boat moored or you can rent on a daily basis and use their boat slip/towage.

A good fishing experience

It is also possible to have a good fishing experience at the local Put 'n take lake. Are you a beginner or experienced? It doesn't matter, everyone can join in here.

You can also take a trip to one of the area's many fishing lakes, which you will find a short drive from the site. Here you are guaranteed to find fishing at a relaxed pace with beautiful scenery - there is no guarantee of catching a rainbow trout, but the chances of catching a rainbow trout are good...
