BEFORE YOUR CAMPING- OR CABIN STAY
Booking and Payment
Our online booking is always open and here you can pay with Creditcard or PayPal.
During busy periods, it is always a good idea to book in advance. Then you are sure to get just the place or cabin you want :-)
When booking, please state the registration number of your car, then the gate will open automatically, when you arrive at the campsite. (note arrival time on your reservation)
Remember to order
LINEN AND TOWELS PACKAGE: If you live in one of our cabins, bed linen must always be used. You can bring this yourself, or order it at Booking.
Holiday with Dog
Dogs are very welcome at Hygge Strand Camping :-)
We have a dog bath for free use and there are dog bags for collection and rubbish bins on the foreshore.
Dogs must always be kept on a lead inside the campsite and must be let out outside the campsite.
Dog are very welcome in our Logcabins, Hyttefade and in our Holiday Homes de lux, but for a fee and only agreed in advance.
Change or cancellation
The conditions in your sent order confirmation always apply. Cancellations and changes to reservations must always be made in writing and within the applicable conditions.

UPON ARRIVAL
Check In
Done on arrival at Reception or selfservice. If you are staying at the campsite, you can check in from 14.00 and if you live in Cabin, you can arrive from 14.00. Luxury Holiday Homes/SEAsuite is from 15.00
If you have provided your licence plate when booking, you can use "self check-in" by simply driving up to the gate
Parking
Max. 1 car inside and only in own space. Other cars are referred to the area in front of the campsite.
Pitch instructions - IMPORTANT READ BEFORE SETTING UP...!
SETUP / CONSTRUCTION: Campervan, tent, caravan or motorhome, MUST stand with the back (not the rearend) facing the hedge, 1 meter from the hedge. Thereby the view is not ruined for the neighbor :-)
FIRE: Due to the risk of fire, there must be at least 3 m to the neighboring caravan/tent. (1.5 m from dividing line)
Electricity
An electricity meter must always be used, which will be handed out on arrival. Always remember to read this yourself (please take a photo)
There is 10 amp. in each plug and the blue CE plug with ground must be used. (3 legs)
Consumption is always settled before departure.
WHILE YOU ARE ON A CAMPING OR CABIN STAY
Use of the campsite's facilities
Use of our facilities is of course only for guests at the campsite...!
SHOWER: Is included in the price
KITCHEN: Use of kitchen, ovens, microwave and water is included in the price. Oven pans for the ovens can be borrowed from Reception.
WIFI: Use of internet are included in the price. Search for: "odder strand camping" and use the password: 83002019
WASHING MACHINE AND DRYER: For a fee, see instructions in the laundry room. Payment online by Creditcard.
CAMPER FACILITY / CAR WASH: Found at the end of the facility building.
Day guests / Overnight guests
As a day guest, you must always pay for a guest card at Reception before entering the campsite. Overnight guests must be registered upon arrival.
Shopping options
2.5 km on foot or by bike along the beach to Hou, there are shopping opportunities (Dagli Brugs and Butcher) Alternatively, there are plenty of options in Odder (approx. 8 km) You will find the bakery in Saksild (5 km)
Parking
Max. 1 car inside and only in own space. Other cars are referred to the area in front of the campsite.
Internet
There is free access to the wireless network at the campsite, look for the "odder strand camping" code sent to you on your welcome message upon arrival.
Food and beverage
BREAKFAST/BREAD: Must always be ordered the day before, no later than PM 15.30. You can do it during Reception's opening hours or by email. The bread isBakerbread and is delivered by Bagergaarden in Saksild.
Various drinks and general kiosk goods can be bought in the kiosk.
Rules of order
PLAYGROUND: The playground must be quiet no later than 22.00 The bouncy pads are ready from 10.00 and switches off again at 21.00 - they are switched on at the green button on the little red house.
QUIET: Show consideration for your sleeping neighbor - The campsite must be quiet after 23.00 (there is also a new day tomorrow :-)
THE GATE: Is open from 07.00 - 23.00 - MAXIMUM 10 km/h inside the campsite.
WASTEWATER: Must be collected and emptied into a chemical toilet or into the drain at the water points.
SMOKING: Is not permitted in rental units, nor indoors in campground facilities.
CHEMICAL TOILET: MUST be emptied into the speciel drain for this.
Electric and Hybrid car charging
Charging Electric/Hybrid cars on electrical stands intended for caravans is strictly prohibited. There is an imminent risk of fire in the cables and electrical system. If there is damage to the installation, YOU are personally responsible for this... We have 2 pcs 22 kwh charging stations in the entrance to the campsite. These can be used via Monta's charging network for a fee. There are charging options in Hou and Odder.

Opening hours in the Reception/Kiosk
The reception is closed - will open again for season 2025
Siesta every day from 12.00 - 14.00
Even check-in is possible online at all times (remember to enter the number plate for the car) check possible until 23.00
UPON DEPARTURE
Check out
Power consumption is settled at the Reception before departure.
If you are staying at CAMPING, settlement/departure is BEFORE 12.00 - REMEMBER to bring the electricity meter with you when paying. (Note, the Reception is closed for lunch from 12.00 - 14.00)
If you live in a CABIN, settlement/departure is no later than 11.00 REMEMBER to read the electricity meter and remember cleanup/cleaning
If you are staying in a Luxury Holiday Home/SEAsuite departure is no later than 10.00 (comsumption is included)
ATTENTION! Please leave the car/caravan on the site/cottage until the settlement is made, so we avoid chaos in the driveway :-)

Cleaning in cabins
Cleaning of cabins is not included in the price when you rent a cabin.
You can purchase additional finalcleaning when booking or at the latest upon arrival at the campsite. General cleaning, washing dishes and emptying the bin are not part of finalcleaning...!
There are cleaning supplies in the cabins and you can borrow a vacuum cleaner during the Reception's opening hours.
