BEFORE YOUR CAMPING OR CABIN STAY
Booking and payment
Our online booking is always open and you can pay with Dankort, credit card, MobilPay and PayPal.
During busy periods it is always a good idea to book in advance. Then you are sure to get the exact space or cabin you want :-)
When booking, please provide the license plate number of your car, so the barrier will open automatically when you arrive at the campsite. (note arrival time on your reservation)
Remember to order
LINEN AND TOWEL PACKAGE: If you stay in one of our cabins, bed linen must always be used. You can bring this yourself or order it through Booking.
Holiday with dog
Dogs are very welcome at Hygge Strand Camping :-)
We have a dog bath for free use and there are dog bags for collection and trash cans on the foreshore.
Dogs must always be kept on a leash inside the campsite and must be walked outside the campsite.
Dogs are very welcome in our log cabins, cabins and deluxe holiday homes, however, for a fee and prior agreement.
Change or cancellation
The terms and conditions in your order confirmation are always applicable. Cancellations and changes to reservations must always be made in writing and within the applicable terms and conditions.

ON ARRIVAL
Check-in
Done upon arrival at the Reception or self-service. If you are staying at the campsite you can check in from 2:00 p.m. and if you are staying in a Cabin you can arrive from 2:00 p.m. Holiday home De Lux/HAVsuite is from 3:00 p.m.
If you have provided your license plate number when booking, you can use "self check-in" by simply driving up to the barrier.
Parking
Max. 1 car inside and only in your own space. Other cars are referred to the area in front of the campsite.
Seating instructions - IMPORTANT READ BEFORE INSTALLATION...!
SETUP / CONSTRUCTION: Caravan, tent, caravan or motorhome, HAS stand with the back (not the rear) facing the hedge, 1 meter from the hedge. This way the view is not ruined for the neighbor :-)
BRANDS: Due to fire hazards, there must be at least 3 m. to the neighboring caravan/tent. (1,5 m from the boundary)
Electricity
You must always use the electricity meter, which will be given to you upon arrival. Always remember to read this yourself (please take a photo). There is 10 amps in each socket and the blue CE plug with ground must be used. (3 pins)
Consumption is always settled before departure.
WHILE YOU ARE CAMPING OR CABINNING
Use of the site's facilities
Use of our facilities is of course only for guests at the campsite...!
SHOWER: Included in the accommodation price
KITCHEN: Use of kitchen, ovens, microwave and water is included in the price. Baking pans for the ovens can be borrowed from Reception.
WIFI: Internet is included in the price. Search for "odder strand camping" and log in with: 83002019
WASHER AND Tumble Dryer: There is a charge, see instructions in the laundromat. Payment by Dankort/Credit card.
AUTOCAMPER FACILITY / CAR WASH: Located at the end of the facility building.
Day visitors / Overnight guests
As a day guest, you must always pay for a guest card at Reception before entering the campsite. Overnight guests must be registered upon arrival.
Purchasing options
2,5 km on foot or by bike along the beach to Hou, there are shopping options (Dagli Brugs and Slagter) Alternatively, there are plenty of options in Odder (approx. 8 km) You will find the bakery in Saksild (5 km)
Parking
Max. 1 car inside and only in your own space. Other cars are referred to the area in front of the campsite.
Internet
There is free access to the wireless network at the campsite, look for "odder strand camping" the code is sent to you in your welcome message upon arrival.
Food and drinks
Must always be ordered the day before, no later than 3:30 p.m. You can do this during Reception opening hours or by email. The bread is Bagerbrød and is delivered by Bagergaarden in Saksild.
Various drinks and general kiosk items can be purchased at the kiosk.
Rules of order
PLAYGROUND: The playground must be quiet no later than 10:00 p.m. The bouncy castles are ready from 10:00 a.m. and are turned off again at 9:00 p.m. - they are turned on by pressing the green button on the little red house.
OR: Show consideration for your sleeping neighbor - The site must be quiet after 11:00 PM (there is also a new day tomorrow :-)
BOOM: The barrier is open from 7:00 AM - 11:00 PM - MAX 10 km/h inside the campsite.
SEWAGE: Must be collected and emptied into a chemical toilet or into the drain at the water points.
SMOKING: Not allowed in rental units, nor indoors in the campsite facilities.
CHEMICAL TOILET: MUST be emptied into the waste basin for this
Electric and Hybrid car charging
Charging an electric/hybrid car on charging stations intended for caravans is strictly prohibited. There is an imminent risk of fire in cables and electrical systems. If damage occurs to the installation, YOU are personally responsible for this…
We have 2 22 kWh charging stations in the driveway to the campsite. These can be used via Monta's charging network for a fee. There are also charging options in Hou and Odder.

If you need a doctor, you can call the Odder Medical Clinic on tel: +45 8654 0011 (between 08:00 and 16:00)
The medical emergency department can be reached at: +45 7011 3131 (4:00 PM - 8:00 AM)
Opening hours Reception/kiosk
The reception is closed for this year - will reopen for the 2025 season
Closed for lunch every day from 12:00 - 14:00
Self-check-in is possible online at all times (remember to enter the car's license plate) and arrival is until 11:00 PM.
ON DEPARTURE
Check-out
Electricity consumption is settled at Reception before departure.
If you are staying at a CAMPING, payment/departure is BEFORE at 12:00 - REMEMBER to bring the electricity meter when paying. (Note, the reception is closed from noon to 12.00:14.00 p.m.)
If you are staying in a CABIN, check-in/departure is no later than 11:00 AM. REMEMBER to read the electricity meter and possibly clean up/cleaning.
If you are staying in Holiday Home De Lux/HAVsuite, departure is no later than 10:00 (consumption is included)
NOTE! Please leave your car/cart at the site/cabin until payment has been made, so we can avoid chaos in the driveway :-)

Cleaning in cabins
Cleaning of cabins is not included in the price when you rent a cabin.
You can optionally purchase final cleaning when booking or at the latest upon arrival at the campsite. General cleaning, washing up and emptying the trash are not part of final cleaning...!
There are cleaning supplies in the cabins and a vacuum cleaner can be borrowed during reception opening hours.
