Dogs by the sea

Plan your holiday with your dog by the sea in Denmark. At HYGGE Strand Camping, dogs are welcome! Information on beach rules, dog forest & dog bath.

We have a dog bath for free use and there are dog bags for collection and trash cans on the foreshore.
Dogs must always be kept on a leash inside the campsite and must be walked outside the campsite.

Dogs on the beach

Most dogs love water and those who don't dare jump into the blue waves love to run on the beach and sniff all the exciting scents found in seaweed, mussels and seagrass.

You can safely take your dog to the beach at the campsite. It just needs to be on a leash during the summer months so that it doesn't bother other bathers.

A nice walk along the beach and maybe a dip in the water - then your dog will also have a perfect vacation.

Dog forest

Fenced dog park in Odder just 10 km from the site.

Lovely large area with plenty of space for playing, walking, training and socializing with other dogs - and a smaller, more restricted area for puppies.

Take a walk in the dog park. It's good exercise and entertainment for both dogs and people. Meet other dog lovers or spend time enjoying nature while your dog can run around freely.
